Final Blog
The semester is ending, summer is starting and I am
finishing the last of the blogs I have to write for English 102. I knew returning
to school was going to be hard but when I was told I would be blogging, I
scratched my head, asking myself; how do you blog? Well the professor answered that one in class
didn’t he.
Our last blog posting is to be a reflection of blogging we
did throughout the semester. As I thought
on this subject matter I came to a conclusion, it is not for me. Was it useful and educational to my studies
in the English class?
Maybe, it kept us writing, which was helpful; but it also
opened my eyes to the people that are constantly blogging out in the world. It was
not easy to keep up with my blog as often as I would have liked, but when
someone is updating theirs all the time, either they don’t have a life or it is
their job. I did learn a lot about
setting one up but did not I take it as serious as I should have. The problem with the blog was it consumes a
lot of time to do it correctly and as such it interfered with other writing or
school work I had to do along with working full time, the time just was not
there. I tried writing the best I could
and set it up to the specification of the professor but I was never completely
satisfied with the outcome. It is hard
to get into a project like blogging when you have no interest in doing it or
the subject matter. I think it was as good learning experience and
practice for writing but I sure hope I never have to do it again.
Dave----Thanks for the feedback. Pretty good entry here; you have some good content. However, I was hoping for more specific details about your experience and opinion.
